In The Garden (2018)

“In the garden there was nothing which was not quite like themselves - nothing which did not understand the wonderfulness of what was happening to them.” - Frances Hodgson Burnett, The secret garden

I am continually drawn to photographs from my family’s archive. I am equal parts connected and detached from these images. Because of this detachment I am able to manipulate the images and create new narratives. In The Garden (2018) explores the vulnerability present in female relationships: those between woman and woman and those between woman and nature.
